We pause across-Canada shipping between June 1 and August 31, or whenever temperatures rise above 20°C, to protect your chocolates in transit. Local delivery and in-store pickup remain available during this time, and you can also shop our summer-safe products. Our website will display a notice whenever heat restrictions are in effect.
Processing & Seasonal Delays
Orders are processed as quickly as possible. Please allow up to 7 days during peak seasons (Christmas, Valentine’s, and Easter) for processing.
September–December and February–mid April.
To protect your chocolate, we typically do not ship June 1 – August 31, or during warm weather (20°C+). During this time, shop our summer-safe products, visit us in-store, or select curbside pickup.
To guarantee delivery for Christmas or Easter, please place your order at least 3 weeks in advance (exact dates announced on our website each season).
Pickup Orders
Pickup orders typically require 24 hours, depending on size. Estimated pick up times will be shared at time of purchase.
Yes! Call 519-621-6988 (Ainslie St.) to place an order. Please note:
- Phone orders do not receive email confirmations.
- Pickups are prepared for the agreed-upon time but may require additional notice during busy seasons.
Local Delivery
We deliver locally to Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, and Ayr.
Local delivery is a flat rate of $12.00 (on any size order).
- You’ll receive an order confirmation email once your order is placed.
- A second email is sent when your order is out for delivery.
If requested, orders may be left at your door. Otherwise, deliveries may be redirected to a courier depot.
Canada-Wide Shipping
We ship across Canada (except during hot weather warnings).
- Ontario orders: usually 3-5 business days, depending on volume.
- Other provinces: 7–14 days from the shipping date.
Orders are shipped through UPS, FedEx, Purolator (and/or another trusted courier) depending of shipping area.
Yes. A tracking number will be emailed once your order is shipped.
We take care to pack your chocolates securely. If your order arrives damaged or melted, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we’ll make it right.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Please call 519-621-6988 or email info@reidchocolates.com within 24 hours of placing your order. After that, we cannot guarantee changes, especially if your order is already shipped or in production.
